You will be taken through to a secure server provided by CAF
where you can safely make an online donation.
The Royal Wanstead Children’s
Foundation needs your support to help the hundreds more children
who need our help. We currently provide grants to help support
some 260 needy children at boarding school.
Many hundreds more vulnerable children need our help. We can
only begin to transform their lives with your financial support.
We are a highly efficient charity with just three full-time
employees. Volunteers undertake much of our work and we don’t
waste money so your donation really gets to those children
who need it. There are tax-efficient ways for you, or your
company, to support this deserving charity, so please try
and help us. And we can advise on direct debit subscriptions
or including the Foundation in your Will.
Please give what you can, when
you can.

T, 15 years old, is an orphan
living with elderly grandparents
“I am writing to
say how much I appreciate all the help you have given me for
my school. I am very happy at boarding school and I have made
a lot of wonderful friends. My friends come and stay with
me at my grandparents’ house at weekends and I go to
theirs.
My school has really helped
me enormously with my work which I enjoy doing. They have
encouraged me with my music. I have just taken my exam for
my piano and passed and they are now arranging for me to take
my next exam on my flute for my grade 7. I enjoy all of my
music and when we go back to the boarding house I enjoy the
spare time with my friends”
Letter from a mother:
“Thank you again
for your continued support which has been so vital to us over
the years. On a personal note I have had a reccurrence of
my cancer, this time in my lungs. I am fighting it hard and
am optimistic, but it does mean that your support comes at
a time when it is needed more than ever”
S, 14, is an orphan living with her aunt, who writes:
“S is a typical fourteen
year old with all the highs and lows that seem to go with
adolescence! We had a very difficult summer holiday last year,
which I feel was caused by the readjustment to her new life
in Cornwall. S is particularly sensitive to change and it
did take a lot of time and reassurance for her to begin to
settle down. The school was thoroughly supportive of my efforts.
S went through almost a year of youth counselling mainly over
the bereavement of her mother. On the whole she seems to have
come out with renewed enthusiasm and I am hopeful we may have
turned a corner”
Letter from D, aged 12. His mother is suffering from mental
health problems:
“Thank you to everyone
who sponsored me. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t
be at this school. I am doing well and I am enjoying it. I
can’t believe that this year has gone so fast. I will
keep in touch with you. Thanks again for everything”.
Please help us help more
children like these. You will be taken through to
a secure server provided by CAF where you can safely make
an online donation.
